Labor Day Weekend of 2009 I was able to visit some locations on the Oregon Coast that I had been wanting to scout, including Seal Rocks. There were quite a few tourists and photographers who enjoyed the setting sun with me, but by the time this afterglow developed everyone had left. My photo-buddy dog, Jep, and I had the beach to ourselves to soak up this beautiful light.
