Hidden Beauty

My primary reason for photographing fall color in Elk Meadows, near Trout Lake, Washington, on this trip in 2008 was to capture Mt. Adams rising behind yellow trees. I was unable to capture this iconic view though, because Mt. Adams never came out from under the clouds. Late in the day large lenticular clouds stacked up over the hidden mountain, and I was happy to settle for this photo as the day faded.
